We love this campground. Everyone is friendly and helpful. We enjoy the fact that Mobile Alabama, Gulf shores and Orange Beach is so close that you can enjoy several day trips. We will be coming back here very soon.
Awesome park friendly staff members Terry at check in is byfar the best person, and very helpful. Great sites lots of fun things to do. Heated pool was amazing. River beach walk was great. Best park around the area.
Great place to stay. Lots of activities at the campsite. About 20 miles from Walmart. Wifi is pretty good. Verizon has great reception. They pick up your trash daily. Has a security gate and a call box for emergencies after hours. The host and all workers are very friendly and helpful.
We didn't stay here but went for a presentation to tour their facilities! The front desk lady was extremely nice and welcoming! Before coming, when we made the appointment, we told them that we could only be there an hour instead of 90 minutes and the lady on the phone said to let them know when we got there and that they could probably rush through some things. When we got there the lady who organized the tours came in and was extremely rude and patronizing, stating that she was going to pull the records to check the phone conversation, and argued with us back and forth, wasting even more time. We ended up leaving and not staying for the presentation. That's not how to handle potential customers.
This is our home campground, close but far enough to be a get away. Lots of shady sites. Nice walking areas. Styx River has a nice beach area for relaxing, tubing, and picnicking. Many cabins to rent for those without trailers or RVs. Friendly staff, always ready to help.
